Last Post

After re-reading that post, I realize it came across pretty somber. That's not the way I feel about it...In fact, I'm extremely excited to hear what God is going to do, I just worry a little. That's all...

Great, now they're (being my family) going to read this, and think..."oh that Luke. He's just a big softy." Geez...I can hear it now...

Remember mom, "I worked in housewares...the manly section...you know the George Foreman Grills..."

LOL! The rest of you don't know how funny that really is...

Awwww....Luke you know I have always loved the big softy in you.
God made you that way and we like you just the way you are...who else would we tease if we didn't have you? lol jk.
I understand how you feel, of course we are thrilled for those who go in our family but that does not mean we don't miss them. I think it would be unrealistic and even dishonest to say we will not miss our family that we love when they go especially for a long time...maybe more. Btw Dad is definately going to Pakistan most likey by Dec.5th...Pray for him a very militant area but really a very hurting area...86,000 dead from the earthquake and another 100k could die if they don't find shelter before the snow comes. Pray for Dad's support raising also. It would be great if it would all come in before he goes. I can't go on this one :( an all guys trip...camping, building, maybe pulling dead bodies out, ya never know...also pray for divine opps to share christ with those who are seeking. Dad wishes you could go with him...and David too of course. :) Maybe next time.
So don't worry pray and get your friends to pray that is where all the power is...of course you know that...your MY son! Love you SO much!!! Mom :) AYBFMom ;)
