House Update

Well, I found the perfect house! It fits every need I have. If I bought it to own and stay in, to re-sell later for a big profit (I think this place has a huge resell potential...there's going to be a LOT of new construction and road construction in the area, but not too close), or to sell later to Eric and Kim for a good price for them if it works that way, and that's what we decide to do. The location is great for it. It's right on the most North West corner of leavenworth, on a 1 acre plot all the way on the back of the property away from the street and only has one neighbor close by. Everything about this place is great. They are asking $150,000, but I know they will walk down from that...they said depending on what I offer, the fridge stays or goes, and seemed very open to hearing an offer.

THE PROBLEM! There's a contract on it right now that's expected to close next week. There are still a few unresolved things in the deal that can still fall through, so I'm praying they will.

It's a 2000', four bedroom house with 3 small full bathrooms. The bedrooms aren't huge, and it's really a 3 bedroom with an office, but it's a very nice place. It's been very well taken care of, is only like 20 yrs. old, split level with a great open floor carpeting, the whole works. Eric and I went and looked at it today, and I'm really hoping it falls through, and he'll give it to me for $140,000. We'll see what happens though.

Please pray that God's will be done in this matter of me finding a house, and that all will work out for me, and the other guys living here right now. It's kinda up in the air what Chris and Jason want to do.

Hey Luke! Wow...I am so excited that you found a house you want. It sounds awesome! I'll definitely be praying that if God wills, that the contract will fall thru and that the price will be right.

Let us know what happens!

Wow Pooch, yeh gots yerself in for a deal eh. Fight for it if needed, don't give in if you think its a pretty shway deal lassie. Poke the owner a few times with a stick to get that common sence runnin in his head to sell it to yuh.

Hi Luke. Thanks for commenting on my blog...I feel loved again ha ha. So am I supposed to answer you on my blog or on yours? I guess I'll just answer you here since I'm here...ha ha.

Anyway, I won't be coming for spring break...God gave me an answer the day after I talked to you about it on the phone. I went to school and learned of an opportunity to go to a course to become a Certified Classifier for Wheelchair Rugby during the weekend of March 10-12. Basically, once I become certified, I will be conducting physical exams on the athletes to test their upper and lower body movement, strength and coordination to determine what level their injury is (to ensure that the athlete isn't faking his/her injury - plus there is a whole point system - each player is classified as a certain amount of points and during play, the team can only have a max of 8 points on the court). After I got excited about that, I looked online at the flights and the flight that I was going to take was no longer available. So, God answered my prayer.

Learning to cook huh? Awesome. It is kinda fun to cook when you have people to cook for. I look forward to eating some Luke-meals when I come this summer.

Talk to ya later.

P.S. Get AIM! :-)

Ah Kathleen, you have discovered my evil

Actually I see that you posted only two days more recently than I...and since I just posted, that means that it's actually your evil plan. Oh no! I guess I'll just have to win in cards again, and that will make it all ok.

Allyson! Yeah, time really does go by quick doesn't it. I remember those was quite simple back then huh? Not that I would ever want to go back to highschool again much unnecesarry drama...whoo! So, have you figured out whether you'll go back to AZ or stay in Ireland, or go off to another country. I here Australia is nice this time of year. Or Hawaii...I'm sure you could hook up a good ministry gig there. Ah, see, now you're thinking about it...Later,

No Cody. You all will never be allowed over! JK...Yeah, you know we'll have a halo night if I ever find a place.

Yeah that's totally cool. How's things going for the big even coming up? Do you know what songs you're going to do etc...? Hannah told me you guys have been hanging out, that's cool. I seriously need to get back there and visit again. It's been way too long. Oh well, someday.
